About
Building stronger communities through collaboration, practical solutions, and lasting partnerships.
For more than 15 years, Outcome Facilitation & Project Development (Outcome) has partnered with government, Indigenous communities, non-profit organizations, employers, and community partners across Alberta to strengthen organizations, build capacity, and improve outcomes for individuals and communities.
Our work is grounded in collaboration, guided by evidence, and informed by trauma-responsive and culturally aware practices. Whether we are facilitating conversations, designing programs, delivering training, or supporting workforce development, our focus remains the same: creating practical solutions that make a meaningful difference.

Why we do this work
We believe people do better when they have the right support, and that organizations do better when their people have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to do their work well.
Sometimes our work directly supports people navigating employment, trauma, or other barriers. Other times, we are supporting the staff, leaders, and organizations working alongside them. In both cases, the goal is the same: to create practical learning and support that helps people feel more capable, confident, and prepared for what comes next.
We do this work because we care about what happens beyond the training session, the program, or the project. We want to see knowledge put into practice, confidence grow, organizations become stronger, and people experience meaningful change in their lives and communities.
Our approach
Every community, organization, and initiative is unique. That is why we begin by listening.
We take the time to understand your goals, your challenges, and the people you serve before developing solutions tailored to your context. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, we work alongside our partners to co-create strategies, programs, and learning experiences that are practical, sustainable, and grounded in real-world experience.
Our role is not simply to deliver a service. It is to build relationships, strengthen capacity, and help organizations create lasting change.
Collaboration and expertise
The best solutions are developed together.
Our work brings together organizational leaders, frontline professionals, subject matter experts, Indigenous partners, and community stakeholders to ensure every initiative reflects diverse perspectives and lived experience.
By combining evidence-informed practices with practical knowledge from those closest to the work, we develop solutions that are relevant, responsive, and designed for long-term success.
Our values
Collaboration
We believe meaningful change happens when people work together, share knowledge, and build solutions collectively.
Integrity
We act with honesty, accountability, and transparency, fostering trusted relationships with every organization and community we serve.
Inclusion
We create environments where diverse perspectives are valued and everyone feels heard, respected, and supported.
Practical impact
We focus on solutions that are achievable, sustainable, and designed to create measurable improvements, not just good ideas.
Experience that brings different perspectives together
Outcome’s Director brings more than three decades of experience in the social sector, with expertise spanning child protection, community development, workforce initiatives, adult education, and trauma-informed practice.
Since founding Outcome in 2011, she has led the design and delivery of innovative programs that strengthen organizations while supporting individuals facing complex barriers, including trauma, violence, disability, and unemployment.
Throughout her career, she has established collaborative community initiatives, developed award-winning programs, and partnered with government and community organizations to improve services and create sustainable solutions.
Outcome’s work is not built around one person’s expertise. Our collaborative approach brings together the right knowledge, skills, perspectives, and experience for each project. This multidisciplinary approach allows us to look at challenges from multiple lenses and develop solutions that are practical, responsive, and grounded in the realities of the people and communities we serve.
We also recognize that some of the most valuable expertise comes from lived experience. The people who participate in the programs we develop bring perspectives that cannot be replicated through professional training or research alone. Their experiences help shape how we understand challenges, design services, and determine what meaningful support looks like.
That belief extends to how we build our own teams. We believe in creating opportunities for people to move from receiving services to helping deliver them. Outcome invests in internal training, mentorship, professional development, and access to education so that graduates of our employment programs can build the skills and credentials needed to pursue meaningful careers in the social sector.
Today, approximately 60% of our frontline service delivery staff have completed programs delivered by Outcome and have gone on to receive appropriate credential training, mentorship, and professional development. It is one way we put our commitment to inclusion into practice: creating a pathway where lived experience is recognized as an asset, people are supported to develop professionally, and the impact of our programs comes full circle.
